Governing Law and Contract Formation

No contract for the supply of goods will subsist between you and FG Adamson & Son until FG Adamson & Son accept your order by e-mail. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time FG Adamson & Son send the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail). For the avoidance of doubt any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in accordance with the Laws of England and will be deemed to have been concluded in England and you and FG Adamson & Son irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Where it is necessary to validate the warranty on your purchase we may complete and submit the registration details on your behalf. Typically this would involve supplying your name, address, telephone number and details of the equipment purchased to the manufacturer of the equipment or the manufacturer's UK representative if the manufacturer is not UK based.

Except as already mentioned, we will not provide your personal details to others.

Pricing
Prices are correct at the time of publishing and include VAT. They are in United Kingdom pounds sterling. Our minimum charge is £5.88. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Pre-delivery Inspection/Service
All of our petrol powered equipment undergoes a thorough pre-delivery inspection before it is released to the customer. Despite what some firms may advise, a petrol machine cannot be taken straight from its box and put to immediate use at its optimum performance. Minor adjustments usually have to be made to ensure that the equipment is performing efficiently and safety.

All of our petrol powered products are removed from their boxes, test run and adjusted prior to despatch. We will return the equipment to its box for shipment but four stroke engines will be despatched without oil in the engine (the oil will be supplied). Instructions on filling the engine with oil must be followed. Any machine powered by a two-stroke engine will be supplied with two-stroke oil. Chainsaws will be supplied with chain oil.

Delivery Information
Delivery is FREE to UK Mainland destinations for all products except ride-on mowers. Ride-on mowers will be delivered FREE to destinations in Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Please contact us on enquiry@buyamower.co.uk for details of delivery to other destinations.

Goods weighing up to 100kgs will be despatched within 3 working days by overnight carrier or post for next working day delivery (Monday - Friday) subject to stock availability. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 3 working days we will let you know as soon as possible.

Ride-on mowers despatched to destinations in Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire will be delivered by our own transport within 10 working days subject to stock availability. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 10 working days we will let you know as soon as possible.

Goods other than ride-on mowers weighing over 100kgs will be despatched on a pallet within 5 working days (subject to stock availability) via a 3 working day carrier service. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 5 working days we will let you know as soon as possible.

The delivery person may ask for assistance in unloading the goods from his/her vehicle at the destination if he/she feels that such assistance is necessary for the safe delivery of the goods.

A signature will be required on delivery as proof of delivery.
