As lawn size increases, so too does the size of the mower needed to cut the grass in a reasonable amount of time. There is no set area of grass where you should stop walking behind a mower and start riding and the decision to move to a ride-on mower can be difficult.
Help is at hand with the Mountfield 725V. The width of cut, engine power and general design are similar in many respects to a walk behind mower yet this is a ride-on mower and it is suitable for lawns (not rough grass) that could be cut with a walk behind mower but where there is a need or desire to use a ride-on mower.
This model is powered by a Mountfield engine and features a variable speed forward drive and reverse. Being a relatively small ride-on mower, access through gateways and into tight areas of the garden should not be a problem.
The controls are easy to operate and the large capacity grass box can easily be emptied from the seat. When the mowing is done, this model takes up very little storage space and the grass box can be removed if necessary.
